History

The factory is established under the name Gen. Ivan Vinarov. At the time the plant has 2 workshops, 4 furnaces and 17 production lines.

A new workshop with 2 bigger furnaces is built. The factory becomes the biggest glass packaging producer on the Balkans at the time.

Five furnaces work simultaneously with a total of 26 production lines. The factory is one of the biggest in the region and the number of staff exceeds 1500 people.

The name of the company is changed to Rubin.

Renovation and retrofitting of the workshop and production lines for flint glass.

Renovation and retrofitting of the workshop and production lines for UVAG glass.

Major investments are made to renovate internal instalations.

A new furnace (#6) for UVAG glass. Project, building and installation from SORG. 3 production lines with a capacity of 150 tons per day.

Major investments are made to renovate the batch house.

The forming process relies on the latest servo engines and mechanisms which guarantee a precise workflow and quality of the product.

• Triple gob technology

Every molding machine can work in a Blow & Blow, Press & Blow, and Narrow Neck Press & Blow mode to produce, respectively, standard bottles, jars, and lightweight bottles.

• Triple gob technology 

Every production line is equipped to work in triple gob mode. The triple gob line increases the production capacity to up to more than 520 pieces per minute.

All the production lines are built to be predominantly straight, resulting in a faster product flow and secure transportation. Because of their configuration flexibility, most of our lines are capable of producing intricated products.

Our production process allows our company to be easily certified by worldwide brands, because we have an OMEGA system on every line, which allows the product to be turned upside down and blown out with compressed air. This makes our production lines meet the requirements to produce even baby food containers.

The factory has a covered storage unit of over 15 000 sq. m. layout, which provides us with the possibility for smooth loading and keeping track of every pallet in our warehouse.

Rubin is equipped with machines that allow the loading and unloading of shipping containers
